What People Say: I recently had the honor of hosting an event where the Ashanti Munir Band was one of my headliners. This was an event to raise $$ for the rebuilding of New Orleans.
When Ashanti Munir's agent contacted me to confirm their appearance, I was very delighted as I had listened to their press pack and was hoping they would agree to perform.
They were as advertised and more. Ashanti's band has a very full repertoire, and appeal to many ages. We had some young fans that were blown away by her presence. I am a hard rocker, and i too was completely taken by their performance.
Ashanti's agent was great to work with, and although they had not worked with our sound crew before, everything was perfect.
We ended up raising about $3,000 for the rebuilding of New Orleans. It was because of the dedication of performers like Ashanti that we were able to do this, and they helped attract people to the event.
I would not hesitate to ask Ashanti's band to come and perform at any event we have in the future.
